Seed Sprouter - Small
Microgreen Seeds from Sow Seeds Ltd
The Seed Sprouter provides the complete solution to help you grow Sprouting Seeds in a compact format that can easily fit on a windowsill. The Sprouter provides the ideal solution for anyone new to sprouting that is looking for a versatile way to start. The Sprouter can be used for large seeds such as Peas and Mung Beans, and by placing bamboo paper on the bottom of the grid, smaller seeds such as Alfalfa can also be sown - (bamboo paper holds water and stays moist for a long period of time, it is also strong but yet will allow plant roots to grow through and reach the water below). Making for a truly universal sprouting solution.
The Sprouter comprises of a transparent lid with air-holes for that vital ventilation, a permeable grid that allows water to drain and for roots to grow through, and a bottom tray to hold water.
The Sprouter makes Sprouting easy... follow these simple steps and you will be enjoying a healthy, nutritional superfood at home in a matter of days!
1. Soak the seeds in warm water overnight - seeds can be soaked in the bottom of the Sprouter
2. Over the sink, tip the soaking seeds into the white draining grid and then rinse and drain with cool water
3. Sprinkle seeds evenly on the grid tray (You may need to place bamboo paper on the grid to stop smaller seeds from falling through). Place lid on the Sprouter
4. Keeping the seed on the white grid tray, rinse and drain 2 to 3 times per day with cool water. Remembering to place the lid back on the Sprouter after rinsing
5. Harvest
Sow sow simple with the Sprouter!
