                Culinary tip: When to use Basil

                There are many uses for basil when it comes to adding flavour to your dish. There is the classic example of basil leaves on pizza or adding it to a pasta dish as well as blending for soups and sauces and mixing with salad. Why not try making your own Pesto!


                How to store Basil

                Once you have grown your basil seeds and they’re ready to be picked, take care in cutting the stems rather than plucking the leaves, as this will encourage further growth. Store them in an air-tight container and be careful not to make the leaves too cold as this can discolour the leaves.
