Chilli Seeds from Sow Seeds Ltd
Serrano chilli peppers are of similar appearance to 'jalapenos' only smaller, but they can be up to 5 times hotter with a Scoville rating of between 10,000 - 25,000.
Serranos have crisp, shiny fruits that measure 2.5cm-5cm long by 1cm across and mature from dark green to red. They have thick fleshy walls and so are best pickled or used fresh rather than dried and make great salsas & Serrano chilli pepper sauce.
