Lemon Drop Chilli Seeds
Chilli Seeds from Sow Seeds Ltd
Lemon Drop Chilli Pepper sometimes known as Aji Lemon or Hot Lemon is a Aji type pepper with vivid yellow shiny wrinkled pods. Lemon Drop Chilli Seed pods are about 7cm long by 1-2cm and have a lovely citrusy flavour with a hot Scoville heat rating of between 30,000 - 50,000 SHU's.
A productive pepper plant that reaches between 70-90cm tall, it can be a little gangly so will benefit from staking once the pods begin to form as the plant becomes top heavy with chillies. Lemon Drop originates from Peru where it is still ever popular and is great used fresh, dried or frozen - so a versatile little tasty pepper with a bit of heat.
