Chilli Seeds from Sow Seeds Ltd
Ring of Fire is very useful everyday chilli that is very productive, producing long thin cayenne type pods that are 1cm wide by 6-7cm long. It's chilli peppers mature from dark green to red and measure 70,000-85,000 Scoville Heat Units (SHU's).
RIng of Fire chilli pods are thin walled so it not only excellent fresh but dries really well making a great chilli powder. They are also good frozen, just cut up whilst still frozen and use in cooking or on pizzas. The neat compact shaped chilli plants reach about 45cm tall and have small mid-green leaves.
The peppers can be ready from July and it will keep producing, if regularly picked, until October. It really is a very productive pepper. Ring of Fire is a great looking chilli plant with lots of perfectly formed hot red peppers and is well worth growing especially with such a wicked name!
