Cut Flower Seeds from Sow Seeds Ltd
Rudbeckia hirta Capuccino is an easy to grow half hardy annual that has gorgeous plate sized flowers reaching up to 15cm in diameter. The reflexed petals are tipped golden yellow with a rich mahogany coloured inner petals and chocolate brown button centre cone making it an unusual, colourful cut flower.
It flowers its little socks off from July to September and is a lovely addition to the late summer border and adding sumptuousness and colour to floral arrangements. It is best planted more to the front/middle of a border as it only reaches 45cm tall.
Rudbeckias are a great for wildlife as bees love to feast on their nectar so an all round winner for the garden, floral arrangement and wildlife.
