Vegetable Seeds from Sow Seeds Ltd
Lunchbox Sweet Mini Peppers are small, crunchy sweet peppers that can be eaten raw in salads, sandwiches or cooked in stir-fries etc. They are a really useful delicious meal sized sweet pepper.
Our seed packet contains 10 seeds with a mix of red, orange and yellow peppers (in varying quantities). We are unable to say what the quantity of each colour pepper the individual plants will be, so it’s a really lovely lucky dip!!
Lunchbox Sweet Mini Peppers are 5-7cm long by 2.5-3cm wide. They are produced on compact plants that reach a height of between 60-70cm tall they may require staking when fully laden with lots of sweet peppers as they are very productive.
A useful small sweet pepper for snacking or cooking with, perfect size for a meal and very sweet tasting crunchy peppers.

|When to Sow||
December to March.
|How to Sow:||
Sow seeds into seed tray in greenhouse and lightly cover with a thin layer of compost or vermiculite and gently water. They need heat to germinate so place in heated propagator at between 18-22°C. They can be slow to germinate from 21 - 28 days. When a set of true leaves have grown ‘pot on’ into 9cm pots and keep at a constant temperature of 14°C. Pot on again into 2L pots when they have rooted well and again into 4/5L pots or the soil in a greenhouse in around May/June time.
To help stimulate pollination just brush the flowers lightly with a paintbrush, going from one flower to the next, transferring the pollen. Water with a nitrogen rich feed (tomato feed) once a week when fruiting has begun.
|Harvest:||June to November. Can be harvested & eaten early when green or left to ripen to red, orange or yellow but the earlier fruits are picked more will be encouraged to follow.|
