Larkspur Sublime Mixed has tall airy spires of double bloom flowers and comes in a range colours from dark purple to lilac, light pink to cerise and creamy white colour. A perfect cut flower for either contemporary or country cottage flower arrangements with a long vase life & it makes an excellent dried flower too.

Larkspur is also known as Annual Delphinium or Consolida ajacis. They look fantastic in the garden as they give height to the back of borders with their lofty 90-120cm sturdy stems and compliment many other flower types such as daisy-like Cosmos, Zinnias or feathery Ammi majus 'Graceland'.

Larkspur Sublime Mixed is a hardy annual that's seed requires a cold period of 6 weeks below 10degc in order to break its dormancy and so encourage good germination. This can be done easily by either sowing the seed in the previous autumn, or sowing seed in a tray in unheated greenhouse below 10°C or by freezing the seed for 2 weeks before sowing in spring.

Larkspur Sublime Mixed makes a beautiful flower for the garden and comes in a lovely mixture of colours to suit different moods and themes and can be enjoyed in the house either as a fresh cut flower or a dried one too.
