Chilli Seeds from Sow Seeds Ltd
Fatalii Chillies are a close relative of the Habanero and originate from central / southern Africa. They pack a real punch with a Scoville rating of between 125,000 - 325,000 so not for the faint hearted as the name implies.
The Fatalii chilli plants are very sturdy and they need to be as they produce such large amounts of glorious yellow peppers. Fatalii chilli pods measure about 6cm long by 3cm and are slightly wrinkled tapering to a point. They mature from pale green to bright yellow on a very productive bushy plant that reaches between 50-60cm tall by 50cm wide.
The chillies have thin walls so dry very well and are as great used fresh as dry with the typical fruity/citrusy flavour of its Habanero cousin. Fatalii makes a delicious, gorgeous yellow sauce or chilli jam that is full of heat & fruity flavour. Well worth growing as this is such a productive pepper plant and is sure to get the pulse racing!
