Cut Flower Seeds from Sow Seeds Ltd
Cornflower Blue Ball has electric bright blue flowers with silvery foliage that make a beautiful floriferous highlight in the garden. It is an excellent cut flower that will last up to 7 days in a vase and is perfect for drying too! We can't praise it enough.
It is an hardy annual that will flower in the same year it is sown. It can also be sown in Autumn where it will germinate to produce small plants that will overwinter & flower slightly earlier in late spring to early summer.
Cornflower Blue Ball does get top heavy so will require staking but it flowers over & over again and is an excellent 'cut & come' again variety that is loved by bees & butterflies etc. This cut flower is a country cottage favourite but will also add a touch of the contemporary to a floral arrangement with its electric blue flowers.
