What to Sow in September
September is still a busy month for sowing. There is still time to sow lettuce and one alternative is to utilise pots and containers. September is the ideal month to sow hardy greens such as Kale, Land Cress, Pak Choi, Mizuna, and Mustard. This will be your last chance to get Radish sown in time for a crop before winter. And finally, if you have any bare soil then sow some Green Manure for over-wintering which will help reduce nutrient leaching and give the soil a nitrogen boost in spring.
