What to Sow in October
Below is our full range of seeds, suitable for sowing in October...October is Pea & Bean month as it's pretty much your last chance of sowing directly before the onset of winter and it becomes too wet and cold. Winter lettuces are another good option to sow in October, as they also lend themselves to sowing in containers. This month is also a good time to still sow green manure with Field Beans and Forage Rye/Italian Rye being great options over winter.
