Chiang Rai Chilli Seeds
Chilli Seeds from Sow Seeds Ltd
Chilli Pepper Chiang Rai, also known as 'Big Thai' originates from Thailand and is a medium to hot pepper. The chillies measure 10-12cm long and mature from a mid green pepper to a deep red. The plant is very productive and reaches a height of about 75cm.
Thailand considers chilli production as one of the most, if not the, most important veg crop grown in the country and although there are not standard cultivars as the farmers have been saving and growing their own chilli seeds for generations, it is one of the most valuable and widely grown crops.
Chilli Pepper Chiang Rai is named after the most northern city in Thailand. Chilli Pepper Chiang Rai pepper has a medium wall thickness so is best used fresh. So why not pep up your stir-fries or curries with your own homegrown flavourful hot Thai peppers.
