Product Description

Sweet William Hollandia (Dianthus barbatus) makes a beautiful cut flower – it has clusters of single frilly bi-coloured flowers in purple, crimson, pink & white on a 50-60cm long stem.

The flowers have the most gorgeous scent that fills a room with a heady perfume and they last for up to 10 days in a vase. Sweet William F1 Hollandia is an annual variety so will flower the same year it is planted.

Sweet William Hollandia F1 Cut Flower Information

Seed Quantity:	Approx. 20 seeds per pack.
When to Sow:	March-May.
Site Conditions:	Sunny, likes fertile sandy soil best.
How to Sow:	Sow seed on top of compost into modules & cover with vermiculite. Water carefully & keep undercover at 15-18°C. Gemination takes 7-14 days. May require potting on into a small pot & allowing to grow on before transplanting outside (May onwards). Space at 30cm x 30cm.
Care:	Deadhead regularly to prolong flowering.
Flowers:	July-August. Cut flower heads when 10-20% of the flowers in the cluster are open.
