Product Description
Aster Tiger Paw Sea Star Mixed are 9cm wide flowers of curled swirling petals in a mixture of single colours from purple to crimson to cream & pink flowers. The heavy blooms are held on a rigid 80cm stem.
Aster Tiger Paw Sea Star flowers make ideal fillers for any floral arrangement and its long vase life of 10-18 days makes it the perfect cut flower.

Aster Tiger Paw Sea Star Mixed Cut Flower Information
| Seed Quantity: | Approx. 50 seeds per pack. |
| When to Sow: | February-April (indoors) or April-May (outdoors). |
| Site Conditions: | Sunny/partial shade, well-drained site. |
| How to Sow: | Either sow undercover (Feb-Apr) into a tray of moist compost and lightly cover the seeds with a fine layer of compost. Keep at 15-18°C. Seed will germinate in 7-21 days. When large enough to handle, ‘pot on’ into small pots. ‘Harden off’ for a week before final planting out 15-25cm apart. Added protection may be required if frost expected. Alternatively direct sow seed thinly (Apr-May) 6mm deep into well-prepared bed in rows 25cm apart. When seeds are large enough thin to 1 seedling every 25cm. |
| Care: | Water especially in dry periods but do not overwater. Support with netting maybe needed for heavy blooms. Remove faded blooms to prolong flowering. |
| Flower: | Late July-Sep. Cut stem when 2-3 flowers begin to show colour. |
