Product Description

Ammi majus Graceland has large (10-15cm) lacy white umbel shaped flowers on strong stems of dark green feathery foliage.

It grows to a height of between 1-1.4m and has a spread of about 50cm this makes it ideal for the middle to back of borders. It flowers for a long period of time from July to August and longer in ideal conditions.

Ammi majus Graceland compliments herbaceous perennials beautifully and its flowers are very attractive food sources for wildlife particularly bees & butterflies.

Ammi majus Graceland Cut Flower Information

Seed Quantity: Approx. 100 seeds per pack.
When to Sow: March to May and/or August to September.
Site Conditions: Full sun or semi shade on fertile well-drained soil.
How to Sow: Direct sow seeds thinly in a very shallow drill & lightly cover with about 1mm of soil. Space rows 30cm apart & water carefully. Germination usually takes between 7-21 days. When large enough to handle thin seedlings to 25cm apart and support stems with pea sticks or netting.Ammi majus ‘Graceland’ can also be sown into root-trainers or seed trays it can sometimes sulk as it dislikes root disturbance so be careful when transplanting seedlings. Transplant to final planting position when large enough to handle & space seedlings every 25cm in rows 30cm apart.Keep well watered especially in dry periods.
Care: Will require staking with pea sticks when 10cm tall.
Flower: June, July, August & onwards if conditions favourable.
