Overview

Ammi majus 'Graceland' has elegant dainty white flowers that not only look graceful in the garden but make a lovely long-lasting cut flower - up to 10 days in vase. It is an easy to grow hardy annual.

Ammi majus 'Graceland' has large (10-15cm) lacy white umbel shaped flowers on strong stems of dark green feathery foliage. It grows to a height of between 1-1.4m and has a spread of about 50cm this makes it ideal for the middle to back of borders. It flowers for a long period of time from July to August and longer in ideal conditions.

Ammi majus 'Graceland' compliments herbaceous perennials beautifully and its flowers are very attractive food sources for wildlife particularly bees & butterflies.

Site conditions	Full sun or semi shade on fertile well-drained soil.
How to sow	Direct sow seeds thinly in a drill 1.5cm deep in rows 30cm apart. Water carefully and germination takes between 7-21 days. When large enough to handle thin seedlings to 25cm apart and support stems with pea sticks or netting. Can also be sown into root-trainers but as it dislikes root disturbance it is best not to use ordinary depth pots. Transplant to final planting position when large enough to handle & space every 25cm in rows 30cm apart. Keep well watered especially in dry periods.
Care	Will require staking with pea sticks when 10cm tall.
Flowers	June, July, August & onwards if conditions favorable.
